Check Please: Cheesecake Bistro
Okkkk so I'm going a little backwards here. This was actually our first culinary adventure. I had been to the bistro a couple times, but it was Co's first time. We went to the one on Vet's (the customer service there is alot better than the one on St. Charles, but we'll get to that some other time).

Bipolar BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!
On a serious note, well as serious as things can get with me, lets talk about bipolar disorder. It annoys me that the term is thrown around so loosely. This actually a pretty serious thing, however it is extremely manageable.Soooo lets get to the facts:
The most common form of bipolar disorder is Cyclosthymia. It is very mild form of bipolar disorder. In most cases the highs aren't as high and the lows aren't as low...
In all actuality tons of people go their entire life without knowing they have it... they just live with it the ups and downs as though they were a normal part of life.
Oooook now lets get to the part that pisses me off:
If a person is actually bipolar, and confides in you that they are, be very sensitive and careful about what you say. Every time said person gets upset, has a problem, or thinks they are being slighted in someway it does not mean they are "being bipolar"! Maybe it means you're being an asshole! Ever though of that?! Everyone has their moments even those who are bipolar!

Check Please: The American Sector
Sooo my best budd Corinna (you'll meet her soon) and I tend to find ourselves on all kinds of adventures... This particular day, after the WORST DOCTOR'S VISIT EVER!!!, we found ourselves famished! And this happened
THE AMERICAN SECTOR!!!
Initially we were pretty excited about this one. We love going to new restaurants and this one was off the charts as far as concept goes. On this day however the execution was pretty poor...
To start off the place was PRETTY empty shoulda been a sign seeing as though it was lunch time but ehh.... The hostess greeted us and promptly sat us...on the furthest side of the restaurant right next to the kitchen door... #sideeye. Our waitress was prompt and seemed sweet enough, but she kinda blew it with her over whelming awkwardness... (I mean come on! She's worse than me!) We ordered our drinks which turned out to be a huge spritzer bottle filled with the sweetest stuff ever. Not much like a soda but we LOVED the Nectar Sector Soda, and it was only six bucks for the whole quart. Our app was pretty amazing too.
While a little over priced for the portion size these Crab meat Pies hit the spot...I'll pass on the Bread and Butter Pickles next time though. Just when we thought this place was gonna redeem itself...we got our entrees.

The food wasn't horrible but they didn't do the price points justice...maybe we just caught um on a bad day... either way I'm sure it'll be quite some time before we give the Sector another visit.

No seriously I'm really back this time...
Time to quit slacking and put this thing back in gear. Soooo how's everybody?.... no? no response? Ok that's fine I understand you feel neglected. I'm gonna fix all of that very soon.
